A disappointment. If you're new to the game, it will be a lot of fun, but if you've played either of the first it will seem like of a randomized Advance Wars with a second screen tacked on. Let's hope to see a little innovation in the next title; the gameplay in the older titles was quite fun, but has been slowly wearing thin. The next title in the series needs to take advantage of what the DS offers in a bigger way.

Amazing stradegy game, tons of fun with other friends ive played it since like 2003 and I still havn't beaten it completely. Never does get boring for me

This version of advance wars is quite odd. First off well it is like the other advance wars games with good graphics and gameplay but what is really annoying about this game is when the computer gets a double turn and they just wipe out about half of your units but this game was lucky enought for me to give it a 4 because i lost the other advance wars for gameboy advance and this DS version includes all of the things that the gameboy advance had like you can build your own maps and other things. Worth a look at

A tremendous game!! It should have been handheld of the year, that year. The graphics aren't all that great but that is good because it sticks to the classic. The rules of the game is simple. Just destroy the other army. It is a strategy game so your going to have to think.
