This game is great fun, but there are some levels that everything is floating and you can't break any more than 7 things. The challenge modes are, well, challenging, a few are almost impossible. But, after beating so many challenge modes, you will unlock 'cheats.' One of these is making the Elebits fall into a deep sleep forever-so there isn't a chance you wake them if you make loud nioses. So many unlockables in this game, plus the level edit makes me get so hooked. I would have to say the only downside is when you open a door, it shuts on its own, so if your inside the closet, it could shut you in. Another downside is repitivity (is that a word?) where some missions have you repeating the same area of the house with altered objectives. Other than this, i say Elebits is great.
well... i dont think its too bad its just really hard
Katamari Damacy, eat your heart out.

I have to say that me my friends and my family (including my nan) really really enjoyed this. Its a very simple game at heart that gets quite tough latter on. Good game that id recommend to any age

Great game, LEVEL editors are awesome, especially making them for friends to try and complete, like letting you make a refridgerator with a domino-like cereal box column, making the door open and make the boxes fall over, letting you get many elebits if you have them hidden in those said items. I HIGHLY recommend this game, as it is also cheap to get!

Not bad Konami! Elebits is a great game for people who are looking for games that REALLY use the Wii Remote. You use all kinds of Wii Remote Moves and Attacks to capture the Elebits and bring the power back. There are actually 29 Missions but, each one has four modes. The modes are: Normal, Score Attack, Eternal, and Challenge. Normal mode lets you play through the story and unlock more things.
Score Attack will have you tossing and opening things while looking for those pesky Elebits.
Eternal lets you play without a time limit. Challenge alters everything (Including the room sometimes) and makes the mission, well, challenging.
The bosses aren't too awful hard, though you'll probably want to throw your Wii Remote through your TV with the unlockables. There is an Edit Mode, but YOU unlock everything. Bummer. Haven't played multiplayer or used WiiConnect24 (Yes, it has it).
Maybe you can let me know how fun it is in the world of multiplayer. Hahaha!

This game is very unique to say the least.

There are little creatures called "Elebits" who apparently make electricity. Your parents love to research them, which makes you feel neglected. Thus, one night during a power outage, you grab your father's "capture gun" (like a tractor beam) and go hunting Elebits.

The levels are different rooms in your house. Using the grab gun, you open drawers, shake vases, and lift up objects as you tear your rooms apart searching for Elebits. Each one you find gives you watts of electricity, and the basic gist of each level is to collect x amount of Elebits/ watts before time runs out.

The game is very cute, and the gameplay is extremely unique. I was skeptical at first (the 1/2 hour tutorial tells you nothing except how to play, so you'll find yourself saying "what the heck are these things and why am I hunting them"), but once the story mode started and I saw what I was doing, I enjoyed it a bit more.

The game is pretty fun, but I can see it getting old fast. I suggest renting first just to make sure this is something you're ready to purchase. On the plus side, I'm pretty sure I've seen this game at stores discounted down already.

This was a fantastic Launch Game. Interesting concept and quite fun. It was a really "cute" game overall. I think, for the genre and the time of launch, this game was perfect.

I primarily purchased this game for me, my nephew and niece to all play along with in the multi-player mode. Unfortunately, you can only play one level at first. Each level becomes unlocked as you play through the story in single-player. Kids of varying ages seem to be over competitive. With Elebits, it doesn't matter. Everyone plays together. We had a lot of fun making a mess of things and shooting at the little Elebits. I've unlocked a lot of levels and can't wait for my nephew and niece to visit next weekend so that we can play through different parts of the house.

There is also an edit mode too. Once you get past different parts of the story, you'll get access to different sets of objects that you can place in each room. Otherwise, you can only put Elebits in the room at first. You can also unlock more powerful Elebits too. I was able to create a room with zero gravity and filled the bedroom with blue Elebits. After saving your room, you can send it off to your Wii friends.

Fun at first, harder at last.

To be honest I like the idea of this game, but the controls really bring it way down for me, I couldn't even open a door that's how bad it is....

This game gets boring very fast. I bought a used copy of it on eBay for about $15, and I'm glad that's all that I paid for it. When you first start the game, you have to wait for about 10 minutes before you can even play because it has this insanely long story that it makes you sit through. Once you get playing, the game gets very repetitive and dull. The graphics in the game are great, but that's about all, and that's the only reason I give it 2 starts instead of one.
When i got this game, i thought it was going to be good... but it isn't. the gameplay is ok, the graphics are cute but are rubbish and the level editor is crap. i wouldn't recommend it.
This looks very childish but if you like destroying stuff then get this game.
The only good thing about this is use of the remote.Thats it.
it an ok game

Elebits is a blend of FPS, puzzle and all-around fun that makes one great game, but leaves you wanting a bit more. The game starts when lightning strikes, and all the Elebits hide and you have to find them to restore the electricity which the Elebits provide. You are a boy named Kai and you set off with your dad's gravity gun since he's an elebit researcher to catch the elebits. Not Oscar winning material, but it gets the job done. Each mission has you in an enclosed area where you have to collect a certain number of watts. When you catch an elebit, you get a number of watts depending on how you catch the elebits. If you catch them while they are sleeping or if they are a flying elebit, them flying, a blue bubble forms around them and they come to you and give you the max amount of watts. When they are walking around and not aware of you, a white bubble forms around them, and they give you the medium amount of watts. If they are aware of you and they get scared and try to run away and you catch them, a red bubble forms around them and they give you a lower amount of watts. But, the hard part is, there is a clutter of objects and you have to power up your gravity gun to lift and throw all the objects around in a search for the hiding elebits. To power up your gun, you have to activate certain objects that let out different elebits that power up your gun to lift heavier objects. To activate these objects you have to collect the normal elebits to get a certain amount of watts to power up objects to power up your gun. It's a neverending cycle so you collect normal elebits to get watts to activate objects, you activate objects and get the other elebits to power up your gun, which then can lift heavier objects to find new elebits to help you activate more objects and so on. You get all that? It sounds confusing but once you start playing it will instantly make sense and you'll have some good fun. But, this game isn't perfect, namely the graphics. Everything looks blocky, almost like Katamari Damacy. But, also like Katamari, there are so many objects that it is forgivable. But, what isn't forgivable is the voice acting. The voices sound TERRIBLE, like they didn't hire voice actors, but the CEO came in and voiced all the voices, and he had a really bad cold. Other than that, the game is really fun, and a step in the right direction for wii. One thing I have not mentioned yet is the editor. Basically after a certain amount of time in the story, you unlock sets of items you can place in empty versions of the levels in the story along with the different types of elebits. You can send the levels to your friends through WiiConnect24 and this was one of the first games to utilize WiiConnect24, but not Wi-Fi, so no online co-op. Which brings me to multiplayer, it's bad. Basically you take turns controlling where you and the camera move, the other people can only shoot where the other player is looking. You can set the time for each player with the camera, but it just fails to be fun, and your better off looking somewhere else for a multiplayer gaming experience. Overall, this a really fun game but you may want to rent it first because you may find it bad or stupid. Okay, I'm done blabbing finally, peace.

A great game if you had a bad day and you just want to throw something, without it costing you.

Not bad for a while, then it gets repetitive. Multiplayer doesn't really add much replayability. Map building is quite a plus though.

I bought Elebits for 10 dollars. And I think it was worth it.
It is a fun, simple game that can get a little challenging.
It's good clean family fun.

You'll not find life's meaning in Elebits, but for it's current price the game is worth the buy.

I really liked this game. The controls aren't perfect but just enough to overlook. The story is some what interesting but I only cared about capturing and enslaving the Elebits and make them pay for making my parents not pay attention to me like they should!
