Cons: Half decent graphics below the water. The screen view always changes back and forth when you first catch a fish. There are only two views to choose from and the under water one plan sucks. Moving the pole (Wiimote) isn't to accurate. When your line tenses you're better off reeling in as quick as possible because if you let the line out, most of the time, the fish throws the hook before you get if back in. If the line out button (A) even works right.
Overall: By far one of thefunnest fishing games I've ever played. But the camera views and bad controls (not all the controls but most) make the game pretty bad. Not to mention that if you don't have the game set on Pro, for the hardest gameplay, then it is easy to catch any fish with any bait. I'd say rent... not buy. This game does show potential.
this game is incredibly like fishing! you can see the fish come up and grab your hook and then you have to try to reel him in without snapping the line. you literaly have to move the wiimote right and left as the fish does to keep it on the hook.
after hes close enough to the boat its time to land him. the game has you move a circle over the fish icon as if on a radar and then you have to press a sequence of buttons.
many people think that while pressing the buttons you have to keep the circle on the fish. YOU DONT!
the game features like a million different hooks you can use.
you choose the type of line, the color and size of it, and even the fish it impersonates.
yu can alsp choose from many different real rivers around the world and from different baotes.
the game also features various types of modes from free fishing to tournaments. its really a good game if you like fshing.
live and learn..
not bad 4 a launch game but there r better virtual console fishing games `and it has little replayablity.
