I rented this game because I love to fish and thought this might be my new favorite game on the Wii. Boy was I wrong. The graphics aren't bad at first, until you start to fish. Then they're pretty terrible. The controls and fishing experience are also far inferior to the fishing pond in the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. There are a lot more lure and tackle options, but in the end it's just not fun. Stick with Zelda fishing until something better comes out.

I regret buying this game. The game is a complete joke and almost all of the guys in the game wear tight ass ****** pants.
Pros: Good graphics above water. Nunchuk reeling in is more fun then most fishing games. Sounds from Wiimote make you feel like your holding a fishing pole and reeling in.

Cons: Half decent graphics below the water. The screen view always changes back and forth when you first catch a fish. There are only two views to choose from and the under water one plan sucks. Moving the pole (Wiimote) isn't to accurate. When your line tenses you're better off reeling in as quick as possible because if you let the line out, most of the time, the fish throws the hook before you get if back in. If the line out button (A) even works right.

Overall: By far one of thefunnest fishing games I've ever played. But the camera views and bad controls (not all the controls but most) make the game pretty bad. Not to mention that if you don't have the game set on Pro, for the hardest gameplay, then it is easy to catch any fish with any bait. I'd say rent... not buy. This game does show potential.
its an allright game if you want to relax and not do much

now a fishing game may not sound all that interesting. but if you are into fishing at all you will want this game.

this game is incredibly like fishing! you can see the fish come up and grab your hook and then you have to try to reel him in without snapping the line. you literaly have to move the wiimote right and left as the fish does to keep it on the hook.
after hes close enough to the boat its time to land him. the game has you move a circle over the fish icon as if on a radar and then you have to press a sequence of buttons.
many people think that while pressing the buttons you have to keep the circle on the fish. YOU DONT!

the game features like a million different hooks you can use.
you choose the type of line, the color and size of it, and even the fish it impersonates.
yu can alsp choose from many different real rivers around the world and from different baotes.

the game also features various types of modes from free fishing to tournaments. its really a good game if you like fshing.
best fishin game

LoL The graphics seem like that of an N64, but I couldnt stop playing... I dont know why! The casting motion doesnt seem to work very well for me either... maybe it takes practice.
bad graphics bad controls the overall game is good on other systems but it sucks for wii don't even rent it!
i only give it three stars becasue yes it is a fun game but i think they couldve done better
Not terribly intuitive. Gets pretty boring. Not overly impressive at all. Fishing in Twilight Princess is more satisfying.

This is disappointing. I expected better controls, and more action. You know what I'm saying? And guess what. I was going to go return it, and they wouldn't take it back, which sucked. 1/5

Horrible graphics and the gameplay takes a while to get used to but it's pretty fun when you get your bearings.
Awsome fishing game, controls are perfect, and gameplay is awsome!
