This game is easy to get hooked on! It is very fun to play. There is so much to do!

i love this game. the blocky little people are cool and you can customize the the way you want. its fun to play when you are bored. there is always somerhing to do. 5 stars

I really enjoyed this game, if you are not a fan of semi-cute and creativity, you will probably not like this game at all.
Pretty much you start out as the new 'creator' of a run down town, you need to build it up so people will move in and be a happy town!
So you start off, build your house, build your workshop, then its up to you to build the fame of your town by moving people in and doing favors for them (making them items using 'essences' which are items that hold colors etc)
So basically try to get your town up to a 5 star town and unlock all the different areas and collect all the essences. Its really fun if you liked Animal Crossing. Sad part is the single player :'(

My primary complaint about this game is lag. In the beginning, there isn't any lag at all. Over time, the lag gets to be unbearable. You'll walk along and pick up an essence, and you won't hear the sound until 2 seconds later. Sometimes the whole screen freezes. You'll hear your console reading the disc a lot too.

This game is a lot of fun. You get to create houses, objects, and the looks of your Sim. All houses end up looking great. You have a set of blocks that go with the Sim's theme that you are building the shop/house for. You can use those, or use any from other sets you have including themed objects from other Sims. (The chef has an Italian window you can use for your goth house).

You get a bunch of blue prints from the mayor to build things. The blue prints are more of a ghost image of an object to build such as a chair. You don't have to build the chair with the exact blocks that the blue prints display. You can build it any way you like. The only requirement is to make sure a block occupies a star located within some of the ghost blocks. This makes for some really wild designs. A chair doesn't even have to look like a chair. Your Sims are smart enough to figure out how to use it as a chair though.

The stories for every character are great and funny. Puns are used in names at times. You may even get a chance to learn some Sim-Fu. Each Sim is unique. I like the Sims that let you change your hair, or dress up in some wild outfits. If you make friends with a Sim, they'll give you a set of clothes so you can dress up exactly like them.

This is a very fun game.Easy for everyone to play but can be hard enough for advanced players if played out correctly.Once I started playing I didn't want to stop.The graphics on it are pretty good but I got tired of the screen freezing up.

Awesome game! Not very much like Sims (actually closer to Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing), but it's a refreshing change. Plus the ability to build whatever you want is very awesome.

It's a lot of fun and lots of discovering to do. It would of been better with wi-fi. Overall, this is a buy if you're in need of a decent game.

My Sims game was kinda cute. My sister made me buy it for her birthday. When I tried it, it was fun to play. I have my own data in it. But it can get boring sometimes. I hate it how we have to keep struggling around the town just to make stuff. You have to find an essence in order to make an item. So then you have to go to the other side of town just to get it. Then you have to go to the other side of town to make it in your own workshop! And in the beginning, the mayor of the town is showing you where you have to live. But she stupid enough to forget to make your house! So then you have to make it yourself! Then she shows you your workshop. But she was stupid enough to forget this too!!! All she does is laugh at you! It's not nice! I'm the one that has to make it. She made me do all the freakin work she was supposed to do! But on the bright side, it's nice to see new people come to your town. I didn't like making my house. But I did enjoy making the peoples homes. Not to mention that I got to go to different places other than the city. But i'm not gonna spoil that part.

I think the only thing this game lacks is the fact you can't do multi-player and, i think most disappointing, you can't trade items on wiiconnect24.

other than this, the game is flawless.

Fun in the beginning then it just the same thing over and over again...(sigh)I thought it was gone be awsome...

not worth the money. this game gets boring fast.and it freses alot just to make it longer than it needs to be. just save your money.

People say its bad because of the lagging and how its like animal crossing but i dont think so its really good it may not have wifi but its cool to show people stuff you make on it and just have fun with your townies.


if you want to show others your stuff stop complaining about it and use your camera, phone (whatever) you must have one

An awsome game, if you like sims this is the gameyou should get.

In MySims, you assume the role of a random person who turns out to be some sort of god to a small town. I say god because YOU are in charge of everything in the town. Even though there's a mayor, she simply wanders about town, talking into a void of nothingness through her big, ugly cellphone appearing to have a purpose. This means it's up to you to craft the town to your liking, deciding who lives where, who gets to move in, and who gets the boot for trying to move in on your girl (...Patrick). Your other responsibility is to answer to the towns' every whim by building what they tell you to using what is known as Essences.

Simply put, Essences are every day items that you find across the world and that you alone are able to use in the many things you build. Whether you use them in the form of the item itself, or a gaudy paint job that no one with ANY taste would want is up to you. As you perform this boring tasks over and over, you're town grows in Star Level. The higher the Star Level, the more options are open to you. More people will come, more areas are open to you, and more Essences can be found.

The social aspect of the game is where the game pulls you in or pushes you away. In your downtime, you can hang out with the local Sims, but your interactions with them alone are limited, unless they're doing something you can join them in. (In their defense, though, they are, in fact, "adorable")You can't just choose give a hug or pat them on the back like you could on the real Sims games. No, in MySims, all the possible actions are summed up in Talk, Be Nice, and Be Mean, doing a random action depending on what you pick. This means that you can't just say "Shake his Hand", you'll just do something random, like Blow him a kiss or Give him a flower, to which he gives the universal response of giggling and blushing. I find this funny, but many will just get annoyed. They should have at least added a "Let's Just be Friends" command -_-. Another similar flaw with Sim to Sim interaction is that all Sims have ADD, and will pursue an action for a few seconds, and for no real reason. Many times, people will come in, do something stupid, and leave.

There is plenty of fun to be had in this game though. At nearly any time, you can bring in a new Townie or Business Owner, and with them, comes a wealth of new possibilities. You'll find Townies kind of useless except to just add new people to your community, but business runners are your key to unlocking a lot of the game's fun. Make pizza at Chef Gino's, dress yourself and your friends at Ms. Nicoles, and even more can be done as your town grows. Plus, if you bring their businesses to the highest level, you'll be well rewarded with even more fun things. Although I haven't seen what happens when you reach max Star Level, I can imagine it's pretty uneventful. That's why this game rewards those who just build up their town and simply have fun, despite the game's many flaws.

The phrase "fun when you're bored" is thrown around a lot in games, but nothing couldn't describe this game any better. If you're the type who enjoys a quick laugh and easy smile, this'll be fun, I promise you. But for those who want a lot more in their games, look away and go play your stupid Halo.

It is a good game, it unlocks your creativity. It is minor friendly. And you get to build your dream home, and you get to decide who lives where, and what they live in!

Great addition to the sims family.I'm gonna speak sim language from now on.

MySims is an Sim game (DUUUUHH) You can if you want build yourself in the game but you can also just make an character . But the main thing is to build your own city and get its rating to 5 stars . The cool thing about the game is that you can decide who can live in you city and who not so you could make like an city with only gothic's (no affence againt gothic's) or with .... something else i dunno you can make what ever you want . allright back to the game it's an nice game and if you are an big Sims fan you will love MySims i say its an mix with The Sims and Simcity.
