I beat the game and every challenge in 4 days, the I got the rest all S's in 4 more days. If anybody needs help with a challenge, I can give you advice.
I love the way nintendo has remade the gr8 Nes title 'ExciteBike' and made the graphics the sound and the rush of acceleration of exitement in 'trucks'.
The way the wii remote has been used as a wheel for the truck is superb it feels gr8 and handy.
Finally ... a racing/driving game for someone who can't stay on the track/road! You actually get more points (stars) for running off the road. And these points can make you the winner even though you did not finish first. And you gain points for sliding around, running into other trucks, driving through the trees, and even for making some great crashes. The graphics are very good, the controls fairly easy ... holding the WiiMote like a steering wheel is much more natural than trying to control a vehicle with a joystick. The tutorials/training runs are very well done, allowing you to repeat them until you have the moves down pat, or to pass them up if you can't quite handle it yet.
This is a fun game that allows you to have fun without having to prove your skill level first. You can unlock advanced items, but do not have to do so to start having fun, and there is plenty to entertain you without unlocking items first. Very well done game.

probably the best racing title until mario kart or burnout comes along

First of all this game has the best controls I have ever seen. The Graphics are great and the sound effects arn't bad at all. If you really like fast race games buy this game. It takes a while to beat the whole game because you have to get S ranks on all the tracks but if you finished the game it is stil fun to race with diffrent trucks. The multiplayer is a little disappointing because you only race with 2 people and not with other computer trucks. For the rest this game is really worth the 50 bucks.
Good graphics, easy controls. I'm still mastering it since I have only had it for a few days. I bought it on ebay for $30
Update: I'm trying to 'S' out the last race in Super Excite to unlock the Mirror levels. Not sure what that entails but I haven't had much luck beating it yet, or even coming close.
BWAHAHAHA!!! Compare to Zelda? Of Course!!! Crashing, bashing, smashing, dashing, mashing, zashing, gashing, slashing, hashing, flashing, and... FLYING!!! (Tadah!!! Got ya did'nt I?) Pretty easy to get the hang of.... Excite Truck was based on the old school, "Excite bike." Conclusion: Excite+Truck= 5 Stars! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!
I'm honestlly not impressed with this one. Steering is a pain with the Wii remote. Thats my biggest complaint. other then that though it's a nice game. Although personally I would recommend it as a good rental and thats about it.
Well, this game is kinda a 3.5 in my books, but it's still an above average game. one of the first get-behind-the-wheel, hold-the-Wiimote-like-a-steering-wheel kinda games. Fast paced like no- other racing game i've seen, and it kept me hooked for quite a while. The best thing is getting huge air, then CRUSHING a car under your wheels just for cheap points. Sweet.
Pretty good, although kinda short. The controls are insanely sensitive at first, but you get the hang of it and its pretty fun. Only non-fun part about it is that when you play other people who haven't played before they do nothing but cry about how the controls are too touchy.

The game is addicting, the controls are nice, it has excellent replay value, you can listen to your own music, and it has cool graphics. Here's how the game goes: you race in different cups with different countries with different difficulties. You unlock more trucks as you progress through the game. You don't win for getting 1st place, you win if you get the required amount of stars. You get rewarded stars by tree runs, crashes with other trucks, how well you morph the terrain, time mid-air, jump comboes, and how well you drift. Awesome game, give credit to the producers!!
The motivation to unlock everything is there. The gameplay is great. The extra modes are fun for about ten minutes. Once everything is unlocked, you probably won't be coming back to the game but for a few quick races from time to time.

Great fun, looked like it might not of been very good when i first started it up, but it turned out to be really good. The challenges r a bit difficult, mainly due to the controls which can be a bit awkward. Graphics are not bad and its a good laugh i havent tried the multiplayer yet but i should imagine its a blast, steering in the jump can be frustrating but the turbo boost is mad!! Would be nice to see a better selection of trucks and a way of upgrading them etc but still a great title, current trade in price as of 13/4/2007 only £12
Excite truck is a new, innovative experience unlike any othe racer out there on the market. Now, admitedly, I am a multi-console fan. (I have an XBOX). In addition, Forza motorsport Series and Project Gotham Racing are awesome games. Excite truck isn't really a racing game and should not be catagorized in the racing genre. I would consider this a racing/action game. It's almost like Flatout but not exactly. (flatout encorporates the ideas of sports m,ini-games and racing games). Excite Truck has amazing graphics, and is realistic to the oint that youdon't just run out of Nitrous, your engine will overheat from it. If I knew that racing combined with jumping off ledges and shooting off cliffs was so fun, I'd have designed a game like it, myself, a long time ago. No question. Every Wii owner should own this game.
