This game is pure ownage for something that came out for launch. IT has such an amazing sense of speed and action to it that i would reccomend to anyone who likes racing games.
Pretty good game. Good use of the wii remote. It's fun to get all of the things on the side while racing, like style points, tree runs, rings, truck smashes. What really makes it good is how you can listen to music from the SD Card. The default music that they give you is pretty bad.
Excite Truck is one of the best racing games for the Wii right now, it's very fun to play thanks to the Wiimote that is used as a steering wheel and to "flight" with the cars when you make some incredible jumps, pass throug the rings or make spins just like a snowboarding game. The game is simple which is bad and good at the same time because it doesn't feature all the options of other racing games, you just have two main options, "Excite race" and "Challenge" but both are very good to play and challeging enough to keep you playing for many hours. The multiplayer well...It's not that good which is a shame because such an entertaining game should have at least a good split screen multiplayer mode. The graphics are very nice, the details of the cars are ok but the environment of the races, the light effect of the sun, the water, the blur effect when you go fast are great, I recommend to buy the component cable and play it with 480P resolution to get the best experience. Overall a good racing game. I give 7.5 out of 10.
This game is awesome! One of the most entertaining racing games I've ever played. Motion controls were very very well done and I felt more connected to the vehicle than in any game I've ever played. Graphics were fantastic and there is such a great heart to the game.
Only downsides I guess are lack of diversity in racing modes, and the multiplayer is a bit poor. I loved it.
First it's a bit frustrating, because the controls seem a bit too responsive, but after a couple of minutes you just CAN'T STOP swinging your Wiimote up, down, left and right! The two-player mode could really be better, for example support for 4 players and computer opponents, but it's ok, since the single-player mode is really fun, and the difficulty doesn't go up too fast, just as it should be!
Very entertaining, all sorts of unrealistic jumping and stunts. More than just racing is needed, as even a first place finish won't get you enough points to complete a track. It does help a lot, though. You'll still need to catch air time, smash your opponents, and do skids to rack up enough stars.
Basic controls are easy and intuitive, but some of the tricks area little more difficult.
Very nice that you can give the game your own soundtrack by loading your SD card with mp3s.
Excite Truck is a very good game. The gameplay is fun and the Trucks are cool. I really enjoy this game and I think everything about Excite Truck is a positive.
ahh, my first game i got for my wii, its a really fun and exciting game, its got decent graphics nothing to be wowed about, controls take a little getting used to, multiplayer isnt really that fun cuz its only you and youre opponent, no cpu, overall its a really good enjoyable game, probably my most favorite of all my wii games

This game is pretty awesome. I generally look away from racers unless you can throw turtle shells or fire rockets, but with my sudden urge for a Burnout-style racer (High emphasis on speed and crashes without the weapons), Excite Truck was my only choice, and I definately don't regret it.

I've only played this game on crummy tube televisions, and even I get blown away by the backgrounds. I may be easily impressed, but this is probably the best lookin Wii game I've seen so far.
The gameplay is pretty easy, steer with the 'mote, tilt it for more air, stuff like that. You get free turbo by landing all 4 wheels down at once after a jump, so bunny hopping over small hills is an exciting way to boost to the end.
The only shortcomings I can see is that there's practically nothing to the single player. Both "campaigns" can be done within hours if you try hard enough, and the Challenges grow stale when you're forced to hunt other trucks a map, rather than a trail ("Hehe, I got you now, sucker- OH S*** WHERE YOU GOIN!?"). It's actually fun if you sing the "Dog the Bounty Hunter" theme while you're stalking them :)
My final opinion, if you're a racing guy and you've got friends who are the same, definately get it. But if you're all on your lonesome, just rent it, the spark won't last forever.
I like how tha controllings N dis game and how you can play your own music while hav'n A blast clearing tha stages or wit friendz. Sorry bout mah slang writing lol I hope U can read it.
excite truck is a good rassing game. but what suked that ther are about 6 rase tracks u just go difrent ways. the things i realy liked was the way the controler was used as a sturing wheel,the extrem aer u can go realy high in that game it looks like ur flying. it takes a long time just to start but atless we now what r goel is. the only trick u can do in the aer is spin (if they desid to make the trucks do tricks then they should add more than one trick)so thats y i gave excite truck 2 out of 5.
This game was really fun until you beat it because you dont want to coninue playing unless you have alot of friends that like to play it too. but its still really fun

I like the mechanics of this game. Holding the Wii Remote on it's side and using it to steer your truck is truly an amazing feature that is great for Wii owners.
The tracks are amazing!

What the game really shines in other than the gameplay, is being able to listen to your own music while you play.
I have a lot of good songs on my SD card, and I always enjoy myself when I play this game.
