'Ollie' is, sadly, now deceased. Possibly a victim of 'one too many' late nights of drunken carousing. In his pomp he was a great actor with an effervescent on-screen persona. He appeared in too many films to mention but is included here mainly as a companion piece to Alan Bates and Glenda Jackson with whom he starred in Ken Russell's adaptation of D.H Lawrence's classic book Women in Love.
