Rorschach is a main character from the classic comic series "Watchmen", widely regarded as the best series ever created. A movie version is currently in production and slated for release on March 6, 2009.

Tough, cynical and streetwise, he is a member of the superhero group The Minutemen. The mask he wears is made of a special material on which the pattern constantly rearranges itself, forming different patterns that resemble a Rorschach ("ink blot") test.
